Jason X…. Extreme!

When you go to see a comedy, you except to laugh so when you find out that Jason’s going to be in space, it’s the same thing.

If you’re a true Jason fan, you can’t honestly say that you didn’t like this one. Yeah it was cheesy, the puns were awful but those were just small elements that tied this gem together.

This was the first time I’ve seen this since the rental came out (yes I did not bother to see this at theaters) and at the time I didn’t appreciate it as much as I do now. But I was looking forward to seeing two scenes again.
1. When Jason fights the sex/fem bot

2. When Jason gets his “upgrade”

And thanks to watching the Friday kills segment, I was reminded of one of the best kills in the entire Friday the 13th movie series. (This the end of the movie but you only really need to watch the first 2 minutes and 30 seconds of this clip)

I could watch that shit all day!

So there’s nothing much else I can say about this movie. You get what you expect so if you come to terms with it, you’ll can enjoy this.

Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood

What if Carrie White battled Jason? No need to imagine it, just watch Friday the 13th VII: The New Blood and it’s pretty much the same idea.

Tina, a telekinetic girl returns to Crystal Lake to deal with the death of her father, whom she believes she killed with her powers. Tina accidentally frees Jason from his watery grave by using her uncontrollable powers. Jason starts killing off her partying teen neighbors and she must learn to use her powers to kill Jason or at least throw a tv at his head.

Again, not really one of my favorites out of the series, but it’s Kane Hodder‘s first Jason role so for that I gotta love it. Also, this movie contains my absolute favorite Jason kill.
