Friday Film Recommendation: June 7th

Happy Friday film fiends.

Are you looking for some new movies or shows to add to your Netflix queue? Well check out my list of recommendations on what’s streaming now.

Goosebumps

Based on R.L. Stein’s fantastic scary tales for kids, this tv show brings his books to life.

Even though this show isn’t as brutal as Tales from the Crypt, Tales from the Darkside and other great shows, Goosebumps is still on par with being awesome.

If you grew up watching these like I did, you’ll love watching this again.

Pulp Fiction

Quentin Tarantino intertwines four stories in this violent, dark comical drama.

I love all of Tarantino’s work but Pulp Fiction is my personal favorite.

Kaboom

College student Smith has a bad trip and sees a girl getting killed. When he finds out that his vision was real, he is awaken to a new, cosmic world.

I can’t rave enough about how much I love Gregg Araki bizarre films. Kaboom is no different from the others.

Kill List

Nearly a year after a botched job, a hitman takes a new assignment with the promise of a big payoff for three killings. What starts off as an easy task soon unravels, sending the killer into the heart of darkness.

This film is very similar to Serbian Film only it’s less rapey.

Hatchet II

Taking place directly after the first film, Marybeth escapes Victor Crowely but returns with an army of hunters looking to take him down for good.

Gore, gore and more gore!

I’m a huge fan of the Hatchet series so I’m glad this is streaming for people to check out before 3 comes out.
