Friday Film Recommendations: Jan 6th

Happy Friday fiends!

Welcome to the first FFR of the year! Yay!

This week’s selection involves zombie cops, cannibals, deadly pranksters, occupation woes and a killer dark side.

So queue up your Netflix and add these movies for your viewing pleasures.

The Dark Half

Thad Beaumont likes to write horrifying murder novels on the side of his average white picket fenced life. When someone threatens to expose him for writing these shameful novels under a different name, Thad decides to come clean about it and “kill off” his alter ego/pen name. Well, all would be well if that evil other didn’t form into a real person who is out to kill people in Thad’s life then take over his. Dun dun dunnnn.

Dead Heat

Two cops discover a high tech lab which resurrecting criminals and making them into hardcore killer zombies.
This little B-movie maybe buckets of stupid fun, but I refuse to believe that Treat Williams could do any wrong. And yes, I’ve seen a lot of his movies and damn it, I’m standing by this statement! So take that! *pew pew pew*

Office Space

Office workers who hate their jobs decide to rebel and steal money from the company.

If there’s any movie I can completely relate to in my work life it’s Clerks and this movie.
I’ve had so many TPS report moments, and people saying stupid shit that is just as bad as “case of the Mondays.” It’s nice to watch this and know you’re not alone.

Have a great weekend folks!
