Friday Film Recommendations: July 1st

Happy Friday everyone!
Looking for some movies to watch this long weekend? Well, you came to the right place!

Check out what’s available via Netflix Instant Watch.
Sid and Nancy
This biopic follows the intensely toxic relationship between Sex Pistols’ bassist Sid Vicious and his groupie girlfriend Nancy.

This is one of my favorite Gary Oldman movies and one of my favorite rock biography-esque films.

Predator 2
The alien creature from another world has left the jungle and journeyed to the city of L.A.
I kinda love it when creatures are taken out of their element and put into the city. It happened in Jurassic Park 2, oh and there was that time that Jason took Manhattan.

Iron Man 2
After Tony Stark revealed himself as Iron Man, his latest enemy creates an arc reactor thingy and plans on destroying Iron Man. Dun dun dunnnn.

The Hole
Four prep school kids decide to blow off a class trip and hold out in an abandon bunker for the weekend. At first the partying and hooking up is awesome, but shit gets real when they realize that they are locked in!

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Five teenagers team out to protect the planet from a galaxy of monsters and evil villains.

I have nothing to say about this show other than….Go Go Power Rangers!

Here’s the latest streaming over at
The Gate
Two kids accidentally open the gate to hell and have to battle demons and s
This movie hardcore freaked me out when I was a kid. It wasn’t the playdo demons that bothered me but just that ONE scene when the kid had an eye on his hand
And also, I’m not going to front, I really want to see Alex Winter’s remake on this.

Have a great weekend all!
