Happy Friday Ya’ll! Time to queue up your streaming devices and computers for this week’s FFR.
The Last House of the Left (1972)
Fun-loving hippie chicks out to scores some pot run into a group of brutal thugs. Everything that happens afterwards….SHUDDER.
This was Wes Craven’s directorial debut and had a 28 year streak of being banned in the UK.
This movie is pretty disturbing even for it’s time so I’m recommending this with caution to anyone who hasn’t seen it.
I also recommend checking out the original The Virgin Spring. It’s not graphic yet it’s still effective.
Typical tale of a summer camp prank gone wrong. The cake taker of a camp is horribly burnt and takes revenge on those who are responsible!!!!
Summer may be over, but you can still linger on by watching this plus it stars Jason Alexander, Fisher Stevens and Holly Hunter…. back when no one knew them.
A couple go on a tour of serial killer murder sites (awesome honeymoon idea) while unknowingly traveling with their very own serial killer couple.
Almost in the same realm of Natural Born Killers Juliette Lewis and Brad Pitt throw down a stellar role as the serial killer couple.
I miss the days when Brad played these rough and grungy roles.
MST3K: Sabrina, the Teenage Witch
Did you know that before Sabrina, the Teenage Witch was a tv show, it was a movie first? Ok, I guess the question should be “Did you give a shit?” but hey I used to dig that show! Yeah, take that haters. I also did see the movie before I knew that MST3K got their awesome hands on it.
So here’s a corny movie done MST3K style, plus… it’s got a young Ryan Reynolds all up in it. Hey, hey hey!
Savage brothers: Ben and Fred star in one of my childhood faves as bros who find a world of monsters under their beds.
It always sadden me that I was never one of those kids that thought I had a monster in my closet or under my bed. After seeing this and all the crazy awesomeness that the kids experienced with their monster friends made me all jealous-like.
But anyway, even though this is supposed to be a kids’ movie, I still effin’ love it.
Catholic school girls get revenge on their bitchy nun by killing her. Too bad she comes back to get them! Dun dun dunnnn!
Let me state…this is NOT the Sandra Bullock remake. Ok, now that I’ve settled this, this foreign film based on a comic book is about a dude on the tip of insanity all because he’s getting supernatural newspapers letting him know who’s going to die. Spiffy flick.
Have a great weekend folks and don’t forget to check out my awesome fundraiser post HERE
